Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium is anticipating to host the 2023 The Breakthrough Artist Award winners, TWICE, for a special one-night-only concert as part of their ‘Ready to Be’ World Tour. Save the date- March 16, 2024- as the most-streamed female K-pop icons take center stage in this magical city!
TWICE consists of nine gifted members signed under the banner of the entertainment powerhouse, JYP Entertainment. Their inception took place through an intense reality competition show ‘Sixteen’ in 2015, marking the beginning of their illustrious journey in K-pop. Although the group was birthed in South Korea, all members come from different parts of the world, mainly South Korea and Japan. Each member contributes a unique set of talents, encompassing vocals, rap and dance, crafting a rare gem within the industry.
Since their debut in 2015, TWICE has taken the K-pop music world by storm, capturing hearts in both Asia and North America. Their breakthrough came in 2017 when TWICE secured the 18th place on Billboard’s 21 Under 21: Music’s Next Generation list, marking the only Asian act on the prestigious roster. The ‘Ready to Be’ World Tour comes on the heels of their mini-album release in March 2023. Comprising seven tracks, the album includes the groups second English single, “Moonlight Sunrise,” and the lead single, “Set Me Free.” Exploring themes of maturity, confidence love and heartbreak, the album presents a rich mosaic of emotions.
After concluding their extensive 2023 ‘Ready to Be’ World Tour, TWICE surprised their fans with the announcement of ‘Ready to Be Once More’ in Las Vegas. “ONCE! We are so grateful to see so many of you on tour this year,” said TWICE. “It’s been a huge honor to play for you all on our biggest tour yet. Let’s celebrate TWICE 5th WORLD TOUR READY TO BE once more together and make this night we will never forget.” Notably absent from their North American tour last June through July, Las Vegas now becomes a special gift for their North American fans who missed out previously. This extraordinary tour, featuring their grandest performances worldwide, will wrap up in Japan in July 2024.
The massive 1.8 million square feet Allegiant Stadium opened in 2020 adjacent to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and has over 65,000 seats available for concert goers and other event attendees. They have played host to several K-pop sensations, inducing chart-toppers like BTS and Black Pink, with each show selling out to enthusiastic fans from around the world.
