10 K-pop Artists To Follow This Year

Are you looking to refresh your K-pop playlist for the Fall, or find a brand new group to get into before they go on their US tour?  There are so many K-pop artists visiting LA that there’s hardly a week without a K-pop concert from now until the end of the year.  Here’s a list of 10 K-pop artists to get into this year whose concerts in LA are just right around the corner!

OMEGA X

OMEGA X is an 11-member rookie boy group that made their debut just a little over a year ago!  To be able to go on a world tour as such rookies, OMEGA X is definitely a new K-pop group to get into this year and watch grow.  OMEGA X embarks on their 2022 World Tour in just a few days on October 3rd in New York, and finishes off in Los Angeles on the 22nd at the Orpheum Theater. See their tour dates below, and be sure to catch them in LA!

The Rose

The Rose is a K-pop band that’s been around for a couple years and given us SUCH quality hits, but they’ve been away for a while so US fans are itching to hear them perform live again.  Lucky for us, they’re coming right to Koreatown to perform at the Wiltern on November 20th so you have a little time to get caught up with their discography.  Member Woosung says the band is named The Rose because, “It’s a name to show music that coexisted with the beauty of flowers and the sharpness of thorns.”  Check out full tour dates below.

Mark Tuan

Mark Tuan is a familiar name to anyone who is a GOT7 fan, but he is making a name for himself exploring other genres as a solo artist!  As a solo artist, he can connect with his fans through music that is even more personal and full of emotion.  See tour dates below, but keep in mind he added another show at the El Rey on November 7th after tickets for his show at the El Rey on November 6th already sold out!

Amber Liu

Amber Liu is another solo artist that has expanded her musical repertoire after her years as a member of K-pop group f(x).  Amber Liu’s solo music is also quite different from f(x)’s genre, and her fans are also able to connect with her through her self-written music. She will be playing in LA at the Troubadour on November 20th and 21st.

ITZY

ITZY may already be a familiar K-pop name, but it’s time to get their songs into your playlist if you want to sing along to all of their lyrics when they start their first ever WORLD TOUR!  So far they have announced 8 US tour stops, including LA at the YouTube Theater on October 26th.  The bottom of the poster reads “AND MORE,” so be sure to keep checking their socials for any upcoming tour date announcements!

ENHYPEN

ENHYPEN is a 7 member boy group formed by winners of the survival program I-LAND, and they debuted at the end of 2020.  These 7 members were the top picks among viewers to form a group and make music together for their fans called ENGENE, and they are coming to meet their US ENGENE on a 6-stop US tour! ENHYPEN will be in Anaheim on October 2nd for their concert at the Honda Center.

ATEEZ

ATEEZ just hit a milestone by reaching No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT, and they are answering their hungry US fans with THE FELLOWSHIP : BREAK THE WALL world tour with 8 tour stops in the states. This includes two days in SoCal at the Honda Center in Anaheim on November 7th and 8th. Check out the rest of their dates below.

NCT 127

NCT 127 just topped the Billboard 200 albums chart with their album 2 Baddies – The 4th Album, and if you want to see these history making members perform “2 Baddies” in person, you’re going to have to catch them at their NEO CITY : THE LINK Los Angeles stop on October 10th at the Crypto.com arena!  If you weren’t able to get tickets, keep following their socials to see what other activities or appearances they might add!

BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK recently released their long anticipated comeback album BORN PINK with title tracks “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down.” The music video for their song “Shut Down” in particular references the many iconic looks and lyrics we’ve seen from the BLACKPINK girls throughout their career, so all the BLINKs who were able to score tickets to their upcoming world tour are dying to know what kind of performances the girls will put on this October and November. Check out tour dates below!

All artists coming to KAMP Los Angeles 2023

The last artist to follow this year is actually a trick because I mean ALL of the K-pop artists coming to the Rose Bowl this October are MUST-FOLLOW artists! KAMP LA will be one of the biggest gatherings of K-pop artists California has seen, so as a K-pop fan you definitely can’t miss this momentous festival and all its artists’ music. Make sure to follow KAMP’s socials for ticketing information and lineup details!
