Everything you need to know about the new Cheongdam Food Hall in Las Vegas!

The rapid rise in popularity of Korean culture has reached Las Vegas, and Cheongdam Food Hall has become the hub for food enthusiasts. Inside, you can find everything from hotteok to all-you-can-eat sushi, making it a culinary paradise for all foodies!

“Cheongdam” stems from an area in South Korea located within the Gangnam District called Cheongdam-dong. Renowned for its affluence, Cheongdam-dong is home to many celebrities and is considered the trendsetting headquarters. Often referred to as the ‘it-girl’ area, it serves as the epicenter of fashion and culture, with trends originating here and radiating outwards across the country. As its counterpart in South Korea, I believe the developers aimed to make Cheongdam Food Hall the go-to destination for all trendy foods.

Cheongdam Food Hall encompasses six different booths offering a variety of food options for everyone. Here is your complete guide inside!

Hotteok, a beloved Korean street food, features flour dough pancakes filled with brown sugar and grilled on an oily flat top. This traditional Korean dessert is reintroduced with an array of flavors at HOHO Crunch. Not only are they serving up delicious Korean pancakes but they have ice cream to complement the pancakes!

At Curry-Ya, indulge in the delights of Japanese curry. With four different spice levels available, their menu boasts a diverse selection of dishes that complement the rich flavors of curry, including udon, katsu and a variety of enticing appetizers.

Tacos By Carmen & Jose 1982

(702) 982-6838

No food hall is complete without a taste of Mexico, and Carmen & Jose’s fills that role inside Cheongdam Food Hall. This family-owned gen serves up authentic Mexican cuisine incorporating their secret family recipes! From classic favorites to mouth watering specialties like Mojarra Frita, Quesabirria and Shrimp Ceviche Tostada, they offer a delicious journey through flavors of Mexican tradition.

Open Monday – Sunday from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

(702) 665-4520

One of the standout booths inside the food hall is Halgatteok, a South Korea-based brand specializing in spicy rice cakes. Unlike the typical small, bite-sized variations, they offer a thicker rice cake. Following their success in Los Angeles, they’ve expanded to Las Vegas, attracting a growing fanbase! I highly recommend their Mala Tteokbokki- a very unique twist from the traditional tteokbokki; spicy but addicting.
