BTS and ARMY Break Records with Permission To Dance On Stage – LA

BTS concluded two of their four BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA tour stops over the weekend, (marking their first concert dates in the US since 2019), and as you can imagine, the shows have been AMAZING.  According to fans on Twitter, every single moment of each show was one to cherish.  The band proved once again their record-breaking ability, their next-level performance skills, and the strength of their bond with ARMY.

BTS sold out all four concert dates at the SoFi Stadium, making them the first band to do so in the venue’s history.  All of the seats were filled with ARMY waiting to greet the members, and thanks to the giant screens, special T-shaped stage setup, and ADORABLE elevated platform, every ARMY in the house had a great view of the members and show.  As ARMY diligently showed up ready to cheer with their lightsticks, the members were greeted by that familiar sea of purple when they took the stage.

One of the highlights of night 2 was Megan Thee Stallion taking the stage to perform #BUTTERTHEEREMIX right alongside BTS, and needless to say the crowd went wild.  Her performance was as flawless as always, her outfit was absolutely stunning, and even the smallest interactions between her and the members was just so heartwarming.  Fans love the “Butter” collab, so of course the special guest performance was welcomed ecstatically, prompting fans to Tweet their support like: “Megtan Supremacy.”

Another aspect that added to the experience was the interpreter BTS had for their English-speaking fans, a sweet and thoughtful touch to make sure they get the most out of their communication with their English-speaking ARMY.  Interpreters aren’t always a given at K-pop concerts, but I think the simple detail enhances the feeling of connection between an artist and their fans.

If you have tickets for a tour stop soon, we don’t want to spoil the show anymore for you.  But if you just can’t wait to get a sneak peek of what the concerts have in store, fans are tweeting some of the best concert highlights with #PTD_ON_STAGE_LA.

All of this comes just days after BTS won the “Artist of the Year” award at the 2021 American Music Awards.  They also won in the category, “Favorite Pop Duo or Group,” and took home the award for “Favorite Pop Song” with “Butter.”  This jam-packed year-end season is showing that BTS and their US ARMY — and ARMY all around the world — are working hard to break records together.

The next two LA tour stops are on December 1st and 2nd at SoFi Stadium.  Tickets to these show dates are sold out as well, so we can expect the shows to be just as magnificent and jaw-dropping as the first two.  The concerts will be livestream simultaneously at the YouTube Theater right next to SoFi Stadium.

After their solo concert shows, the BTS members will head to The Forum on December 3rd for 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball with other huge acts like Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, and more.

(If you are planning to attend any of these events, please be sure to read the venues’ specific health requirements for entry.)
